Born in Mexico, Alex always wanted to become a pilot. He started his training at the Van Nuys airport for his private pilot license, and continued learning for his instrument and commercial training in Houston, finishing up his CFI/II in Dallas. It is there that he started teaching others and helping find their love of flying. Alex is dedicated to helping new pilots begin and advance down the same path he started on. After a year of teaching and flying in the Texas area, his love for flying, and teaching others eventually landed him here, in Fresno!

Shawn was born in So Cal next to cable airport and loved watching the planes fly over his house. He did his training at ATP in Louisville, Ky where he lived for a couple years. He instructed at ATP for 6 months then moved back to So Cal and provided training out of the Van Nuys airport. Shawn loves to see his students progress and is excited for the next chapter in Fresno.
